when I first received the gun I hated it. I couldn''t work the trigger, the hammer spring was so heavy I had to work it with two hands. I read some other reviews and did the things that were recommended. I oiled everything, and worked the hammer and trigger a couple hundred times by hand while watching tv, and to my surprise it loosened up and worked like a normal gun. I could work it with one hand and the trigger was normal. Then I took it out and shot a box of 32''s and a few 38+P''s. Now I love it. For what it costs, the fit and finish, it''s pretty darn good. I can''t hit anything beyound 5 or 6 feet, but, hell, it''s a Derringer, I think if I ever needed it, the perp would be close enough to hit. I think it will do what it''s made to do, it''s two guns in one, weighs 6 oz, so it''s easy to carry, will hit with 38+P power. I can change barrels in about 60 seconds and have a 32. All that for a $150 and change. I''d have to give it a 5.
